Description

CME-6111-ND is a force balance, 3-component, ultra-low noise broadband seismometer. It minimizes the thermal effects due to low noise molecular electronic transducer with electro-dynamic feedback. It comes with a robust enclosure eliminating special carrying procedures for shipping and installation. After installing it on a rigid horizontal surface, it’s enough to power up the device and wait for several minutes to start the measurements.

This model is very rugged and does not require any special means or procedures for transportation and installation. The only procedure to start the operation is to place the seismometer on a rigid horizontal surface, turn the power on and wait for several minutes.
This seismometer can be used in various applications such as seismic observatories, seismological surveys, seismic micro zoning and passive broadband seismic exploration.
