CME-4311-OBS

Description

Seismometer CME-4311-OBS is specifically adapted for ocean bottom applications and is a version of CME-4311. This model shares the main technical parameters with the corresponding regular unit but has a specially designed compact lightweight case, a flat flexible signal cable, and consumes less power. Specially designed hardware allows the seismometer to be installed inside titanium or glass waterproof spheres usually used in ocean bottom installations.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

  • SEISMIC MONITORING NETWORKS
  • WEAK MOTION MEASUREMENTS
  • SEISMOLOGICAL RESEARCH
  • EARTHQUAKE DETECTION AND MEASUREMENT
